Expiry tracker for cosmetics, medicine and period after opening
One glance answers it. Best Before tracks the expiry dates you forget about: the mascara, the paracetamol, the sunscreen from last summer.
Point the camera
Name and date, without typing either
Hold the pack in frame. The app reads the printed date and fills in the product name for you — you type nothing. Nothing is saved until you confirm. If a pack shows several dates, you pick the right one.
Two taps to add
A name and a date. That's the whole form.
Everything else is optional. There are no categories to pick. If the pack only says how long it lasts after opening, enter the months. The app works out the date.

Questions and answers
Where is my data stored?
On your device and, if iCloud is on, in your private iCloud so your other devices see the same list — we cannot read it, and names, dates, PAO info and notes never reach us, except a backup you export yourself. See the Privacy Policy for details.
What does the camera scan send?
One photo goes to the recognition server to suggest a product name, then it is discarded — never stored, and the request does not identify you. More in the Privacy Policy.
Can I turn off analytics?
Yes — Settings has an Analytics toggle, on by default, and turning it off stops analytics and crash reporting. More on Support.
How do reminders work?
By default Best Before schedules local notifications 7 days before an item expires and on the day itself — you can change which days in Settings — so allow notifications for it in iOS Settings. More on Support.
How do I back up or move my data?
Export a backup from Settings to get a .bestbefore file, then open it on another device and confirm the import. With iCloud on, your own devices sync by themselves. More on Support.
Why is a name suggestion sometimes wrong or missing?
Recognition is only a suggestion — if it is wrong or empty, type the name yourself, and date reading on the device is unaffected. More on Support.
